GM Ed Zickowski and Sigung Christopher Reyes honored.

Today marks the anniversary memorial of the legendary Great Grandmaster Aleju "Al" Reyes, a true pioneer in the world of martial arts.

Senior Grandmaster Henry Mandac Memorial

SGM Mandac passed away on Good Friday April 7, 2023 at the age of 83. He lived on Oahu Hawaii his entire life and worked for the Honolulu Police Department as well as for the Honolulu Attorney General. SGM Henry Mandac was a first generation student at Palama Settlement.

In the late 1950s Aleju Reyes was setting the groundwork for the first classes at Travis Air Force Base. These classes would become the spark for what would become the Suisun Self Defense Institute.
