In 1990 she came back to Reyes Kenpo Karate to study under Senior Grand Master Alan M. Reyes and in 1995 Sifu Lynn earned her first black belt.

“Over the years I learned how to share my knowledge in a way to help each student be their personal best on and off the mat.” - Sigung Lynn Tokuda

HISTORY

Sigung Lynn’s dedication to the art and RKK led her to compete in tournaments and countless demonstrations to support and promote the school. She became head Instructor of RKK Vacaville when she was promoted to 2nd degree black belt. Subsequently, she was named Secretary to Reyes Kenpo Karate, a position she has held for 30+ years.

“What I treasure most is knowing that I have made a difference in the lives of the students I have had the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with.” - Sigung Lynn Tokuda

In 2001 Sigung Lynn was severely injured during her 3rd degree test. Instead of letting these injuries keep her from training, she turned to Tai Chi to help with her healing process. In 2006 she earned a Black Sash from SiGung Warner Wong.

In 2021 Sigung Lynn Tokuda earned her 7th Degree Reyes Kenpo Black Belt in 2021

“Sigung Lynn Tokuda’s dedication to Reyes Kenpo Karate and Kajukenbo as a whole is represented by her dedication to detail in the documentation of original knowledge. She is a true guardian of wisdom, history, and knowledge.” - Sigung Alan Christopher Reyes
